YOUNG people are set to raise money for charity with a sponsored walk.
The Farnworth Social Circle Cricket Club Foundation's walk is around five miles in total and will take place this Saturday, March 23, at 1pm.
Walkers will travel from Farnworth Social Circle Cricket Club, in Piggott Street, to Farnworth Cricket Club, in Lavender Road, then on to Kearsley Cricket Club, in Springfield Road, before circling back to the starting point.
The money raised will go towards the running of the Social Circle club.
Fancy dress is optional and sponsorship forms for the event can be found behind the bar at the club.
