A SHOPLIFTER who repeatedly stole from a supermarket has been handed a community order.
Alan Renshaw, of Bickershaw Lane, Bickershaw admitted to six thefts at Asda Golborne Superstore on Edge Green Lane between January 23 and March 7.
The 25-year-old, who took items such as coats and baby clothing, also pleaded guilty to trespassing at the store's warehouse with intent to steal on March 10.
Renshaw must complete a rehabilitation activity requirement and has been ordered to pay a £500 compensation fee and a £50 fine.
He was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Monday.
