WHEN one of the world’s most famous and successful brass bands, Black Dyke, takes to the Victoria Hall stage in Bolton on Saturday under its Musical Director Nicholas Childs, the town will be in for an incredible evening.

Harry Potter, Pirates of The Caribbean, James Bond, Star Trek, Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, a fantastic programme of something for everyone of every age.

And it is the double the treat for music lovers, for there will pre-concert performance by Bolton’s award-winning Eagley Brass Band and its conductor Chris Wormald

During the concert there is to be a very special honour for Mr Wormald who has been invited by the Black Dyke Band to conduct the band twice during the concert itself on music he has arranged especially for the world famous band.

And to say Mr Wormald is thrilled would be an understatement, a dream come true.

All proceeds from the concert go towards keeping Bolton’s Victoria Hall open.

Tickets are available from Booth’s Music, the Victoria Hall box office and on the door, but organisers hope that the people of Bolton will come out in huge numbers to enjoy, support and marvel at this very special, gala night in aid of the town’s most historic concert hall staying open for many years to come.

For further information contact the Victoria Hall directly on 01204 522569.

Doors open just before 7pm.
