ONE of the Bolton’s leading jazz orchestras The Managers Big Band are gearing up to play another of their much-loved home gigs.
Their next quarterly performance will take place tonight at their long-time rehearsal space and home, Bolton Ukrainian Social Club in Castle Street.
The Managers are now in their eighth year of residency at the club.
The 19 piece orchestra formed in 2006 will be featuring music from the libraries of big bands such as Stan Kenton and Buddy Rich, plus the music of Frank Sinatra, Gordon Goodwin, Ted Heath, Billy May, Duke Ellington, Neal Hefti and more.
People of all ages are welcome to attend.
Doors will open at 7.30pm. Entry costs £7 per person, including an entry into the free raffle draw.
Refreshments are available at the bar.
