SUPERJOSH founder Dawn Fidler brings you her latest blog

Since taking Josh to school on their transport bus, Fusion Fostering has always been big supporters of his SuperJosh charity and this Christmas was no exception.

Ray Porter, of Fusion Fostering North West Care and his teams made huge efforts during their Christmas appeal, in order to provide a large amount of craft materials to two hospital children’s wards.

The children at North Manchester General Hospital children’s ward and also Royal Bolton Hospital children’s ward benefited from a range of craft materials and games.

We know first-hand how important these things are to the underfunded wards.

This gift means so much to the children, their families and the ward staff.

It means the children can have a respite from their condition and be children again while they play with their games and become engrossed in a craft project.

Ray and the team at Fusion Fostering didn’t stop there!

They also held a Peaky Blinders fundraising event last weekend, where generous sponsor and donors helped raise an amazing £302 for the charity.

As if that’s wasn’t enough, Ray also supported one of our families, a bereaved parent, with a weekend away at their beautiful Ribby Hall Chalet so they could have a much-needed respite break with their family.

A wonderful generous gesture that was a great tonic to those that had the weekend away.

A huge thank you to Ray, Suzanne, Chantelle and team for all their amazing support.
