COUNCILLORS could find no reason to disapprove of a seven-bedroom house remaining as a house of multiple occupancy (HMO).
Westhoughton town councillors felt there had been no issues in the 12 months 99 Bolton Road has been operating as an HMO and saw fit to recommend the retrospective change of use planning application.
Cllr Lynda Winrow-Baker said: "There doesn't seem to be any problems, parking has been fine."
She added: "It's been like this for 12 months, a lot of the occupants don't have cars and there's plenty of space there."
Cllr Ryan Battersby agreed saying it would be "churlish" not to approve.
