EXCITED children had a chance to quiz police officers when they turned up on their doorstep.
Police officer Mick Tinsley and a local PCSO met the very youngest at The Gates Primary School in Westhoughton.
Children had a chance to sit and look around the police car and even had a chance to turn on the siren.
During the visit children found out more about the role of the police and how local officers can help them. Children also had a chance to try on the school uniform and teachers said they loved the visit.
