A BOLTON restaurant is giving eagle-eyed diners the opportunity to win £1,000 - with some free cake thrown in for good measure.

Pine Tree Farm , in Cutacre Way, Over Hulton will be hiding a special golden plate in among their carvery plates.

The golden plates will be handed out randomly to guests over the Easter period, with diners having until April 28 to try their luck.

Each golden plate finder will receive a free slice of cake, baked in house.

Golden plate finders will also be given a golden ticket with details on how to enter a prize draw to win £1,000.

Chris Elliott, general manager at Pine Tree Farm said: “As a family-focused restaurant we know that Easter is the perfect time to gather the family and feast together, and what better way to finish off a delicious carvery than with a sweet treat and the chance to win £1,000 cash.

“That’s why we’re giving away slices of our home-baked cakes this Easter to lucky diners and offering guests the chance to go for gold with our special Easter surprise. The team at Pine Tree Farm are looking forward to handing out golden plates to lucky locals and putting a smile on their face this Easter.”
