A WALKING group is planning several rambles next week.
With a total of five walks of varying lengths to choose from, Bolton HF Walking Club is inviting people to take part.
The first of these walks will take place next Wednesday, April 17, offering participants a scenic 10 miles around the Yorkshire Dales.
Named the ‘Flasby Fell’, walkers taking part should meet at the North Street car park in Gargrave at 10am.
Other walks that day will be the nine-mile ‘Todmorden Triangle’, the seven-mile ‘Smithills Moor’, and the five-mile ‘Cranberry Duck’.
The club are also planning a walk on Saturday April 20, which is a seven-mile climb named ‘Winter Hill from Different Angles.’
The ascent up this local landmark will begin at 1pm, and those wishing to take part should meet at the White Horse, Stitch-Mi-Lane in Harwood.
