THERE'S a host of Easter fun to be enjoyed when the family goes shopping next week.

‘Hop into Spring’ will begin on Wednesday, April 17 at the Middlebrook Retail Park and will go on until the following Monday.

There will be many fun activities throughout the week, starting with an Easter hunt with the Middlebrook Angels.

Children will be invited to find ten Easter bunnies hiding around the stores for a chance to win an egg of their own.

Robert Hallworth, centre manager at the Middlebrook, said: “The Easter egg hunt is always very successful.

“We do it for children and their families over the Easter holidays.

“It brings more people down and, on the hunt, they have to go all around the park.”

Other highlights of the six-day event will be a petting farm, a glitter tattooist and a workshop to decorate Easter egg fridge magnets.

The fun will culminate in an ‘Easter Fun Day’, taking place on Monday, April 22.

Mr Hallworth said such events were important to the retail park.

He said: “It’s to be part of the community and to put on fun events for children so people can come down with the whole family.

“It’s a great way to bring excitement and it’s a bit of fun for everyone to do.”

Everything included will be free of charge and all ages are welcome.

Activities will take place between 11am and 4pm each day and can be found in the Mall near Vue cinema.
