WORKING Wardrobe is already proving a huge success in getting people back into work — but it relies on the generosity of people to keep the store stocked and running.

People who are referred to Working Wardrobe make an appointment during which they pick out a full interview outfit including shoes, bag and accessories if necessary.

And anything they choose will be theirs to keep.

Everyone can help — from retailers, individuals and organisations — to ensure the scheme remains a success retailers to individuals.

Retailers who have surplus stock can donate to the scheme and individuals who have any appropriate interview clothing they no longer need are asked to consider passing it on to Working Wardrobe.

The scheme needs “gently worn” suits and smart clothing to help people make “that first impression”.

Organisations are asked to back the scheme from providing financial support to organising suite drivers as well as offering mentoring opportunities.

The best day to drop off donations are a Tuesday and a Thursday from 10am to 4pm at Working Wardrobe or alternatively at Johnsons Cleaners.
