MAY I please thank the hundreds and hundreds of Bolton people who came to the Victoria Hall on Saturday evening attending our latest Eagley Band and Smithills Community Gala Charity Concert.
Judging by the amazing response from the audience members, both at the concert and subsequently via email and text, another great night was thoroughly enjoyed by all and both Bolton Lions Club and International Aid Trust will benefit hugely from the large amount of money raised.
I cannot over emphasise the gratitude of all those of us who performed again on Saturday evening to the many hundreds of people who came to watch, listen and support.
It makes everything not only worthwhile, but very special indeed and here's to the next time, on Saturday July 6 at our Greatest Showman and Mary Poppins Returns concert.
