BOLTON Golf Club Lady Captain Gill Lowe handed over a cheque for a whopping £3,676 to The Christie Hospital.
The money was the proceeds of Ms Lowe's year of fundraising activities at the club at Lostock Park. Gill chose The Christie as a result of her personal experience. She said: "It is a fantastic hospital and they looked after me when I was poorly very well indeed. Several of the lady members of the club have benefited from the medical care."
