The man police want to speak to in connection with the incident
AN investigation has been launched after a Mercedes was set on fire in the early hours of the morning.
CCTV footage released by police shows a man approaching a Mercedes E320 parked in Kennedy Street, off Bury Road, Tonge Fold, at about 1.20am on Sunday.
The man managed to get into the car before a fire was lit within the vehicle, causing substantial damage to the interior.
No was injured.
Police are now appealing for witnesses as they seek to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV footage.
