A PAIR of key railway bridges will undergo refurbishment over the next two bank holidays.
"Vital" repairs on Coppull Moor Lane and Chorley Lane bridges have been ongoing and are due to finish in July, with engineers working overnight and in off-peak hours.
However, efforts will ramp up in the coming holidays, as staff will work 24 hours a day from 11:15pm on Saturday April 20 until 11:15pm on Easter Monday and the same times on May 4 until the May Day holiday.
