A LEGAL eagle and her team are celebrating after another successful year of supporting the Rugby League community.
Charlotte Beck, from Bromley Cross, and her colleagues at law firm Ward Hadaway, two years ago partnered with the Rugby League Cares charity — which provides welfare support to players and their families both during and after their careers.
As part of the partnership, the Ward Hadaway team has given legal support to the charity, as well as helping with governance, and boosting its profile and fundraising.
Chris Rostron of Rugby League Cares said: “We are now into our second year and we are delighted to continue to work alongside Ward Hadaway in support of our work assisting players throughout the sport. Having their expert team on hand to assist players, particularly with some of life’s challenging circumstances, has become an essential aspect of the services we provide to the playing community.
He added: “Everyone is so supportive and willing to get involved whether it’s supporting players or advising the charity with expert legal advice, or rolling up the sleeves and getting involved with our fundraising. As a result, we are proud to promote Ward Hadaway to the sport’s greatest assets - the players.”
