EVERY week we are always on the look out for fun things to do around the town.

This weekend is a bumper one for most with Easter celebrations and two extra days off to enjoy.

Epic Easter egg hunt

THE Easter Bunny will be leading a hunt around Bolton’s Market Place Shopping Centre this weekend.

Hop from shop to shop on Saturday with your little ones to find the Easter eggs hidden all around the shopping centre.

Organisers say: “Bring your little bunnies to join our big Easter bunny for an epic egg hunt around Market Place.

“It’s the perfect way to get the little ones involved in the spirit of Easter and use up some pent up energy!”

Everyone is welcome to take part in the free hunt which runs from 11am until 3pm.

Easter Sunday walk with Bolton Ramblers group

ANYONE interested in hiking can join the Bolton Ramblers for their Easter Sunday walk beginning at 10am. The group will meet at Rivington Hall Barn for the 10-mile walk.

The walk will take in the high points of the Pike, Winter Hill and Great Hill.

There is no need to book, but make sure to remember your packed lunch and Easter eggs.

Easter chocolate treats and prizes to be won

HEAD over to the Westhoughton Community Hub for the family friendly Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Saturday.

Chocolate treats are up for grabs as well as the opportunity to win a family day out to Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

The event begins at 11am and is free to take part in.

Refreshments will also be available.

Fun kids Easter activity sessions

THIS Saturday, Bolton Library and Museum is hosting a ‘Design your own Easter Cards’ workshop.

There is also an exhibition about the myths and legends of gods and goddesses, with craft activities. This runs 1-3pm until Monday. Events suited to ages 4-11.

Club fancy dress egg hunt

AN EGG-CELENT choice for the adults!

Bamboogy, the retro bar and club in Bradshawgate is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday night.

The hosts will be hiding plastic eggs around the club, find one and take it to the DJ booth where it be exchanged for a chocolate one

The fancy dress party begins at 9pm and runs into the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.
