The traditional Good Friday Rivington Pike walk 2019.
A SEARCH was launched for a young boy who went missing while walking up Rivington this afternoon.
Bolton Mountain Rescue, police and nearby firefighters along with walkers helped to find the youngster.
Bolton Mountain Rescue co-ordinated the search after being alerted at 12.20pm. The police helicopter, which was nearby, was also scrambled to the scene.
He was found by a member of the public at around 1.15pm.
And the youngster got to find out more about the work of Bolton Mountain Rescue team, before enjoying the rest of the day with his family.
