NEW security measures are set to be introduced at a a multi-storey car park in Bolton town centre.

From Tuesday, drivers will need to use their entry tickets to gain access to the NCP Octagon car park.

Shutters have been installed at both the entrance and exit barriers, while scanners have also been put in place outside the pedestrian entrances, meaning people will need to scan their ticket to be allowed access.

NCP staff have been at the car park's entrance this week informing drivers of the changes.
