Update: Police investigating alleged abduction
Police have cordoned off a street in Watford – and the road could be shut for a “number of hours”.
Tape has been put up at both ends of Obsorne Road, off Sandown Road, in the North Watford area.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed that the incident is being led by the Metropolitan Police.
The Met Police has been approached for further details.
A witness has told us she walked by around 2.40pm today and could hear sirens and when she walked back past Osborn Road at 3pm, the road had been shut off and police were at the scene.
It is believed that forensic officers are on their way to the street and an officer said the road could be closed for a “good few hours”.
More to follow.
