A HIGH performance vehicle was found to be missing a front number plate when stopped by police in what officers have said is a growing trend to make them "look cool".
Traffic officers stopped the Audi RS3 after it was seen driving close to the bumper of the car in front.
The incident took place yesterday morning.
Officers tweeted: "Audi RS3 seen M62 this morning by#GMPSRTT driving abnormally close to the bumper of the car in front – perhaps to disguise the fact of the missing front number plate.....
Sadly a growing trend with performance cars, it makes them look cool…… #NotConvinced"
