Fire at former garden centre
FIREFIGHTERS from Bolton Central and Bolton North tackled a fire at the former Birtenshaw Garden Centre in Darwen Road, Bromley Cross.
Bolton North watch manager, Craig Cubbins, said: "An amount of wood and old tyres was set alight at the rear of the building."
Fire crews got the call at 7pm and spent 30 minutes at the scene.
