- • Labour have lost seven seats including Farnworth and Kearsley, two in Horwich and Blackrod and one in Westhoughton
- • Conservatives take Hulton and Breightmet but lose Westhoughton North and Chew Moor
- • Farnworth and Kearsley First win two seats taking total to five councillors
- • Horwich and Blackrod First Independents win their first two council seats also beating Labour
