A PACKED audience of Bolton business leaders enjoyed a host of big screen blockbusters of a different kind this week as they headed to a town centre cinema for a first-of-its-kind meeting.

Teams from 46 companies and organisations across the town were invited to the Light Cinema in Bolton Market Place where a unique b2b meeting was held.

The event was organised by Amber Karim, from the Light Cinema, in association with The Best of Bolton, as a way to help Bolton businesses on the path to success.

During the course of the day 12 participants, including Bolton Lads and Girls Club and the Last drop Village, utilised one of the cinema’s huge screens to give presentations to the other attendees.

The screen had been given over to them to use for free by Light Cinema business manager Luke Haidinger.

Attendees also enjoyed a free lunch were given goodie bags provided by The Best of Bolton.

Ms Karim described the event as a huge success and noted that there was a very good turnout with people requesting further such business meet ups in the future.

She added: “I organised this because I want to help others. It’s what Bolton needs.

“Business are struggling and I think The Best of Bolton is a brilliant way to express to people how to be a success.”
