ALONG with the major Blackburn Road roadworks, there are more starting this week across Bolton.
Roadworks in Bolton's centre include gas main works in Astley Street at the Blackburn road junction starting on tomorrow. The road will be closed for three weeks.
In Bury Road there will be manhole repairs taking place from tomorrow to Wednesday with narrow lanes off-peak. There will also be telecoms work in Bury Road, near Meadow Lane, from Wednesday to Thurday. Temporary traffic lights will be in place off-peak.
In Deane Church Lane at the junction with Queens Road, from Thursday to Monday, there will be telecoms work with temporary traffic lights off peak.
In Shepherd Cross Street at the junction with Hatfield Road, there will be electric, gas and water works for just under two weeks, from Friday to May 23. Temporary traffic lights will be in place.
In Weston Street at the junction with Viking Steet, water works will take place on Thursday, lasting the day. Temporary traffic lights will be in place off-peak
In Horwich, in Georges Lane at the junction with Matchmoor Lane, there will be a new telecoms pole being fitted from Thursday to Monay. Temporary traffic lights will be in place.
In Little Lever, electricity works will be going on in Stopes road for just under two weeks, from tomorrow until May 20. Temporary traffic lights will be in place.
In Westhoughton, resurfacing works in Wigan Road, Hart Common, will start on Wednesday. The works will continue until Friday, with stop and go board during off-peak times.
