LABOUR leader Jeremy Corbyn will visit Blackburn today for a post-election rally.
He is expected to address 200 party members at a major venue on the outskirts of the town centre.
Mr Corbyn will also discuss integration and cohesion issues with senior Blackburn with Darwen councillors.
The Labour leader was in the town last month when he dropped in for a curry at its EastzEast restaurant with his Parliamentary aid and local MP Kate Hollern.
In October 2016 he visited Blackburn College’s £5.5million Regional Automotive Technology Hub.
Cllr Phil Riley, Blackburn with Darwen council's deputy leader, said: “We are delighted Jeremy is coming back to Blackburn. He seems to like the town.
“He will speak to a rally of about 200 party members after successful local council elections in the borough. Mr Corbyn will also discuss the council’s all-round approach to cohesion and integration.”
