POLICE have appealed for help after seeing suspicious men looking into cars and finding a stolen motorbike in the area.
Greater Manchester Police were patrolling the Kearsley area last night when they attended reports of men looking into cars. Police also recovered a stolen motorbike near the scene, which had been taken just hours earlier.
The offenders ran away from officers when they were discovered.
GMP Bolton South asked members of the public on Facebook to check any CCTV in the Kearsley area and email in any images.
In a Facebook post, GMP Bolton South said: "We've attended a report of suspicious males looking into vehicles in the #Kearsley area.
"Officers have searched the area and the offenders made off upon seeing. We have recovered a stolen motorbike nearby, which was stolen a few hours earlier. Check your cctv and contact us with any images you may have hub.k@gmp.police.uk log 193 140519 #InspJW #BRelief"
