AN appeal has been issued to help find a teenager who is missing from his home in Bolton.

Police say they are concerned for Israr Amin, aged 15, who has been missing for 11 days.

Officers have conducted "extensive enquiries" in a bid to find Israr.

They have now released an appeal, asking for members of the public to help with their search.

The teenager, who was last seen on Tuesday, May 7, is described as an Asian male, who is 5ft 11 inches tall, and of slim build.

Greater Manchester Police's teams in Bolton posted on social media yesterday: "Police are concerned for missing teenager Israr Amin from Bolton.

"The 15-year-old has been missing since Tuesday 7th May 2019 and despite extensive enquiries officers have not been able to trace him.

"Israr is described as an Asian male, 5'11", slim build, brown eyes, short brown hair with a beard.

"He was last known to be wearing black bottoms, grey body warmer, black cap and blue Nike trainer.

"Anyone who recognises Israr and has any information about his whereabouts should get in touch."

Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident number 2413 of May 7, 2019.
