A TOWN centre church will mark 75 years from the D-Day landings with a commemorative service.
The anniversary of the historic Normandy invasion, which marked a huge turning point in the Second World War, is on June 6, and Bolton Parish Church will hold its remembrance event on June 2.
This will start at 10.30am and will include a special service inside the church and a further commemorative event outside.
Any interested parties are invited to attend, particularly ex-serviceman who served during the landings.
For more, call John Walsh, church warden and chair of the Veteran's Association, on 07836 363635.
