AN AMBITIOUS recruitment company is aiming to double its turnover by the end of the year after securing a huge six-figure investment.

Four Recruitment, based in Horwich, secured the £250,000 cash injection from Manchester financial advisors Sedulo.

The funding will be invested in a detailed training and development programme which will be available to all new and existing staff.

The firm also announced plans to double the company's staff levels over the next 12 months.

Claire Sofield, sales director and co-owner of Four Recruitment, who founded the business alongside her brother Phil, said: “Sedulo have been our accountants and business advisors for the past two years.

"The support and guidance we have received from them has been fantastic and we’d like to thank Paul Cheetham, Leyton Jeffs, Lee Jones and the team for getting us to this point, we’re incredibly excited about the future”.

Established 11-years-ago, Four Recruitment specialises in finance and human resources, and has grown to have a strong presence across the North West.

Company bosses now have their sights on further growth plans and are targetting a 100 per cent increase in turnover.

Phil Sofield, operations director at Four Recruitment, said: “Last year we celebrated our 10-year anniversary. We’ve achieved a lot in those years since our humble beginnings as a finance recruiter in Bolton, including the creation of a number of other service lines – Four HR and Four Practice. This new wave of investment will allow us to continue to develop our teams to be the best in the industry.”

Based in Deansgate, Manchester, Sedulo financial consultants to entrepreneurs and offer services from the inception of a business, throughout growth, and on to exit strategies

Leyton Jeffs, Sedulo's funding partner, said: “I love working with the team at Four Recruitment.

"There is a real vibrancy about them and it’s clear that they’re really going places. It’s great to see a business investing in their people like this as it matches our business ethos.”
