A MAJOR road is set to have one lane closed for two weeks as new cables are installed.
Work is set to begin on Moss Bank Way, close to the junction with Thorns Close, from Monday, May 27.
This will see engineers from Bolton Council's Highways Department close one lane on the road while high-voltage cables are set up in anticipation of a new housing development in the area.
Motorists have been warned that the project is expected to cause severe delays during the two weeks it is in place.
For more information, call the Highways Department on 01204 33 66 77 or visit: www.bolton.gov.uk/roads-pavements/roadworks.
