TEENAGER Naomi Bynon is used to singing in front of the congregation at Bolton's Kings Church but on Monday she had an audience of 21,000 when Michael Buble plucked her from the crowd to sing at his sell-out concert.

"It was amazing, a real 'pinch-me-I-must-be-dreaming moment'," said Naomi, 19.

She was at the Canadian star's Manchester Arena concert with her parents, Andy and Lynn, and brother, Joel, 22.

"We are all huge fans of Michael and it was the first time we've seen him in concert. I knew he sometimes invited people out of the audience to sing but I never thought it would be me."

The unforgettable moment came half way through the show. After telling the audience about the tough times his family experienced when his son was diagnosed with cancer, the singer said he wanted to spread kindness.

"He asked if anyone wanted to live their dream by singing in front of the audience and make it a real party, and Naomi rushed to the front," said Naomi's dad.

Naomi, who lives in Breightmet, offered to sing one of Buble's songs but he aid he wanted to hear something different so Naomi sang the Elvis Presley ballad, Can't Help Falling in Love.

The former Bury Church High School and Bury College student is studying musical theatre at SLP stage school in Leeds and credits the staff there for giving her the confidence to sing.

Afterwards, Michael’s backing singers stopped her outside to tell her how impressed they were. Naomi even acquired some fans of her own with people asking for selfies with her on the tram back home.

Mr Bynon said: "What a fitting tribute to take place at the Manchester Arena. To show such a beautiful act of kindness and to spread love was such a contrast to the devastating concert at the Arena two years ago.

"Lynn and I are such proud parents and thank God."
