A DRIVER has been arrested after failing a drugs test at the roadside.
Traffic officers said their suspicions were raised when they spotted a man in his 20s driving a car with an insurance policy taken out for a man in his 50s.
Greater Manchester Police's traffic patrols stopped the driver of a Seat Leon in Bolton town centre on Saturday afternoon.
Officers search the car and found a quantity of drugs.
The vehicle was seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
Police later tweeted about the arrested: "Sighted this Seat Leon in Bolton town centre. Insurance policy was for a male aged in his 50s! The male in his 20s driving clearly was raising suspicion.
"The quantity of drugs located in the car and a positive drug test resulted in the male being arrested."
