Police and ambulance were called to the house in Somerton Road following concerns for the welfare of a man.
Two ambulances, two rapid response vehicles, and police attended.
The body of a man believed to be in his 70s was found.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
Police have passed a file to the coroner.
