PUB-goers can get their hands on a free gin and tonic this weekend in exchange for a fruity treat.
The Red Lion Hungry Horse pub on Salford Road, in Over Hulton, will be offering the drinks in a swap for any guests who bring an orange.
It comes as the pub has partnered with Beefeater Gin to offer the company's Blood Orange or Pink Strawberry gin to customers.
Samantha Graburn, general manager at the Red Lion, said: "Everyone loves a freebie and World Gin Day is the perfect time to treat our locals with a refreshing summer drink.
"Our giveaway for World Gin Day is just one of the exciting activities happening at our pub this summer for Greene King’s Great British Summer Social, which will see more than 1,500 events happening at pubs nationwide."
To redeem the offer, guests will have to visit the Red Lion pub on Saturday June 8 and give an orange to a member of staff at the bar to receive a free 25ml measure of one of the two gins served with a Schweppes tonic.
