A DELIVERY driver in an uninsured car had his vehicle seized by police.

The man was stopped by traffic officers yesterday after officers spotted him driving a white Skoda in Peel Lane, Little Hulton.

He was stopped at around 10am in the morning while he was out delivering food.

The vehicle was seized and removed from the scene by police and the driver was handed a six point penalty.

Owners of cars seized by the police have to pay a 'release fee' of up to £200 plus £20 a day in storage fees to have the vehicle returned.
