A CAR landed in a field of cows after a two car smash this morning.
One of the cars hit a wall on Colliers Row Row, Smithills, and ended up in a field with around 50 cows — which after surrounding the car started making their way on to the road.
A female, said to be in her 20s was said to have cuts to her knee and a man in the car was taken to hospital.
One of the cars involved was a BMW.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "We were called to a two vehicle road traffic collision at 7.04am.
"One of the cars collided with a wall and had gone into the field.
"50 cows surrounded the car and went on the road."
The cows were led back to the field a short time later by the farmer.
