THE owner of a new car watched it being seized by police after driving it without insurance.
Traffic officers stopped the Saab on St Helens Road in the early hours.
The driver told them he had only bought the car yesterday.
Posting on Twitter, a traffic office wrote: "Just stopped this car on St Helens Road Bolton.
"Driver stated he only purchased the Saab yesterday. Shame he didn't purchase any insurance. Already holding 8 points on his licence he's off to court.
"Vehicle seized under Section 165 RTA"
