While the weather is a washout, there's nothing like a soft play area to keep the little ones entertained.

Amazonia offers a bit of everything for the little ones.

With a play frame for four to 14-year olds, a Lost Valley Adventure golf area, and a train ride through the jungle, there's plenty to do.

There is also a jungle café at their site at the Market Place Shopping Centre offering chicken wraps, sweet potato fries and other snacks for adults and children alike.

The play area is open daily Monday to Saturday, from 10am until 6pm, and on Sunday from 11am until 5pm.

Or if you’re interested in the crazy golf head down Monday to Wednesday from 10am until 6pm, on Thursday to Saturday from 10am until 10pm, and Sunday 11am until 5pm.

Prices vary for soft play, but crazy golf is £4.50 for all ages. Equipped with an array of slides, bridges and climbing frames, there is enough to keep your kids busy on every visit.

Wacky Warehouse, Salford Road, Over Hulton

Wacky Warehouse in Bolton is a soft play area attached to the Red Lion pub and is filled with slides, obstacle courses, colourful blocks and balls for youngsters to enjoy.

The kids can run wild and release their energy in a fun-filled environment.

Wacky Warehouse is open from 9:30am till 7/8pm.

For one hour play the cost is £3.75pp and for Tot club it is £2.25pp.

Curly Whirleez, Millfield Road, Bolton

FUN is available for all the family at Curly Whirleez.

The large play centre includes a café, a sports court, a gymnastics room, Fitness 4 Kids, party rooms and more.

There is a multi-level play frame with a car track, large open wavy slides, a tube slide, a cannon zone, and loads more to keep the kids entertained.

That Fun Place, Trinity Retail Park

Why not take your kids to have some fun in a three level playframe?

A standard two-hour play session is recommended at That Fun Place, which includes an indoor soft play area and trampoline parks.

Children from 0-12 are welcome to have some fun, especially when the weather outside is a washout.

The place has many areas up for offer, including a five-metre racing slide, swing donuts, spiral slides and ball pits.

There is also an onsite café for parents to enjoy coffee.

Fun Valley, Blackburn Road, Bolton

Fun Valley is an indoor family fun facility offering kids the chance to run, jump, slide, climb and crawl on their giant play area.

Toddlers and under-fives can enjoy their own zones that include soft toys. Older children can enjoy the large twisty and four lane slides and the rock-climbing wall.

Prices vary depending on age and adults can go free with a paying child ticket.
