TAKE the little ones to Moss Bank Park this Tuesday and enjoy the wonders of the natural world.

Nature Tots is a popular programme based outdoors with an interactive theme each week.

Activities will help the youngsters become independent learners and develop team working.

All of this helps to boost children's communication skills, problem solving, physical development and mental creativity.

Activities include mini beast hunting, water play, muddy play and many more exciting activities.

Appropriate outdoor clothing is required.

Harwood Writers

Do you have a hidden talent for writing?

The Harwood Writers are the perfect group for you.

The group write in a range of styles from poetry to prose and welcome all new members no matter what experience you have.

Sessions take place every Tuesday afternoon from 1:15pm till 3pm at Harwood Library. The entry is free and there is no need to book.

The music of Peterloo

JOIN Dr Alison Morgan’s in a talk focusing on the ballads and songs of Peterloo, with live music.

Bolton Central Library and Museum is hosting the event on June 21 from 7pm till 9pm.

Dr Morgan will be joined by Pete Coe and Brian Peters who are professional folk singers who have been presenting traditional songs and music at concerts for many years.

Entry is free.

A vintage experience at hall

HEAD down to Smithills Hall to have a wander round the Vintage and Artisan fair.

Wigan and Bolton Vintage and Craft fair will be at Smithills Hall on June 23 from 11am until 4pm.

The fair has a wide selection of stalls selling ladies and men’s vintage clothing, accessories and collectables.

Plus, there will be local makers, designers, artists and food stalls, selling an array of goodies.

Admission to the hall is free.

Spring show

BOLTON Little Theatre is presenting the theatre show Spring and Port Wine.

From June 17 until Saturday, June 22, immerse yourself in the world of Rafe Crompton. A man who has such an unswerving integrity that his family is forced to hide their feelings from him.

The performance is a ‘classic northern family comedy about the swinging 60’s.’
