Washing machine smokes-out house
A WASHING machine caused extensive smoke damage to a
house in Douglas Close, Bolton.
Bolton firefighter Dave Greenwood said: "We got a call about 3pm on Saturday and spent half-an-hour at the scene.
"The motor of the washing machine had burned out and there was a lot of smoke damage."
