BEACH-Body ready. It’s all over the front pages of the lifestyle/health and fitness magazines, but what does it actually mean?

The holiday season is upon us and now is the time I usually see people go into panic mode because they have six weeks before they go away.

Which can be loosely translated into they want to look good and feel confident wearing fewer clothes than they do in this country.

And this isn’t just about the ladies either. I see a lot of male clients who also feel the same way. Their desire to don a pair of surf shorts and flip flops and feel positive about meandering around the hotel pool is just as important to them.

I think confidence is one of the biggest underlying reasons why people want to lose weight and change their body shape.

Although it might sound obvious, it’s not always the first thing a new client will say.

It’s more about the ‘feeling’ they will have when they have a body which they feel comfortable about. And that can mean slimmer, stronger, more toned and fitter looking minus a few wobbly bits!

But this doesn’t mean you have to look like the next Kylie Jenner or Justin Bieber.

For most people, they would just really like to improve on their current situation.

It’s amazing how even after a few weeks of training consistently and changing some nutritional and lifestyle habits, you can start to feel different.

Have you ever tried your own holiday plan before?

What have been your biggest reasons to stay away from the biscuit tin or decline the drink after work on a Friday night? What were your biggest challenges?
