AN ANNUAL free festival will take place at Moss Bank Park next weekend.
Party in the Park will run from 10am to 4pm on Sunday June 30.
The event will feature entertainment from local musicians and primary schools.
There will be inflatable attractions and a number of food stalls, including pizza, barbecue and Greek street food.
Organiser Matt Gorton said: “I’ve done all six and it’s just about us giving the community a free day out.”
This year, for the first time ever, there will be a special sensory tent for people with additional needs.
Mr Gorton added: “It’s something we’ve done to make the event more accessible for people with learning difficulties. We’ve hired in an accessible toilet vehicle as well.
“I work in a special needs school so I just wanted to open up to the event.”
The main stage schedule starts at 10.30, with an open-air celebration service. It will be followed by BOOM, Coptic Choir, African drums, Johnson Fold School Choir, Midweek Sax, Church Road Primary School, Climb the Mountain, St Peter’s Smithills Dean, Nabeel’s Bangar Music, and Bolton All Starz, before a Song of Praise Finale at 3.40pm.
