SHOPPERS at the Market Place were greeted by a riot of sound and colour this weekend.
Bolton Hindu Forum held its ‘Bollywood in Bolton’ event at the shopping centre on Saturday, with dancers showcasing their best moves for visitors.
Stalls offering food, face painting and henna tattoos were also on hand for shoppers to enjoy.
Manu Mistry, the chairman of Bolton Hindu Forum, said: “There was a lot of interest from the public. It was good to see.
“We had quite a few people coming in from elsewhere in Greater Manchester.
“The event worked really well in terms of community cohesion.
The annual event is now in its third year, and organisers say they hope it will return bigger and better next year.
