A CANCER support group is aiming to make a difference through physical activity.

New initiative 5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer invites those living with and beyond cancer, their families, friends and those working in cancer services to walk, jog, run, cheer or volunteer at a local group linked to a Parkrun event on the last Saturday.

The Bolton 5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer group is run by Astrid Greenberry and Alex Pegg who both work in cancer services in the Bolton area. The next edition of the run will be held on Saturday, June 29, and runners will meet at 8.45am at Leverhulme Park. Register at: 5kyourway.org/register.
