THE boss of a Bolton dental group is looking to get his teeth into a whole new line of work.

Synergy, which has three clinics in the borough and six other practices, has taken over creative agency PHD.

Amir Khan and Love Motors are among the clients for the former Halliwell Road venture, which has been going for 12 years.

PHD, which offers everything from website design to social media coverage, is now working out of Synergy’s base at Oceanic House, in Waters Meeting Road.

Dr Zuber Bagasi, who launched Synergy after taking a well-established clinic in Bolton Road, is looking forward to the link-up.

He said: “As a company that continues to benefit from the latest digital technology – from booking systems to surgery practices - we wanted to expand Synergy to help develop other local businesses in the same way.

“I am fully invested in the benefits and improvements that digital technology can bring to any local business.

“It’s my belief that by bringing small businesses into the online space, it will aid the already prospering Bolton economy.”

Dr Bagasi hass been busy adding fresh locations to his portfolio for the past 12 years or so, and now also has surgeries in Bury, Blackburn, Preston, Ormskirk, Birmingham and Blackpool.

His time overseeing the clinic in the resort’s Central Drive saw him named Blackpool Dentist of the Year and he has also been highly commended at the Bolton Business Awards.

The doctor and his staff have also been recognised as part of the UK Dental Awards. The crossover development comes at what is fast becoming a highly competitive market for the creative industries in Bolton.

Only last month EQ, an offshoot of Bring Digital and its parent firm BDH Ventures, announced it was starting out at the Atria building, in Spa Road
