THOUSANDS of people turned up to enjoy a Big Day Out, making the annual event its biggest yet.
More than 3,000 people flocked to Bolton's Big Day Out to soak up the Saturday sun while having fun on a whole range of events.
Bouncy castles, slides, rides, a mini zoo, birds of prey, a climbing wall and more all popped up on the field to show families in the community a great time.
Visitors browsed the wares of over 40 stall holders, along with car boot sale options at the event organised by The Bridge Church.
Steve Tilbrook, the event organiser, said: "It's gone unbelievably well — we had well over 3,000 people come down this time.
"It has built up a reputation and we are trying to grow it year on year. We're trying to make it bigger and better.
"This has been the best year ever out of all the times we have done this."
The event has been in the works since Christmas, giving the organisers months to organise their Big Day Out.
Mr Tilbrook said: "We have got a great team of volunteers, it is a real team effort."
Among the top favourites was the entertainment-filled stage, which saw a ukelele band followed by Bollywood and Irish dancers.
