A TEENAGE girl arrived in style for her school prom – in a Rolls Royce covered in more than four million crystals.

After five years of studying, 16-year-old Blackburn Central High School pupil Isha Sanah Akhtar made a jaw-dropping entrance to the end-of-year celebration at Dunkenhalgh Hotel in Clayton-le-Moors.

Dressed to impress and arriving in style, she turned up in the Rolls Royce Phantom decorated in four million Swarovski crystals.

She even enlisted the services of her own camera crew to capture her getting ready and travelling to the prom.

The luxury touches were provided by Isha’s uncle Amar Akbar, who travelled with her in the Rolls Royce to the prom.

Isha, who lives in Audley, Blackburn, with her mum Nabila Akhtar, said: “Ever since I’ve been small my uncle has been like a father figure to me.

“He wanted to do something special for my prom and give me a great send off from school.”

The Bolton News:

The Rolls Royce is available to hire, costing a whopping £500 for 15 minutes — transporting Isha from her granddad’s house to the Dunkenhalgh.

The stunning blue and grey coloured gown that Isha wore for the prom cost £260 and £300 was spent on the camera crew.

As well as enlisting her uncle’s help, Isha’s hair and make-up for the prom was done by her auntie, Rozana Ghafoor, while the choreography and photography was done by Wahid Ahmed, from Gold Wings Studio.

She said: “The prom was just amazing. The car and what has been done for me brought tears to my eyes.

“My uncle and family wanted to do something different for me so I didn’t have the same entrance as anyone else.

“I even had my own red carpet from the car to the hall.”

She added: “I would like to give a big thank you to my uncle and auntie and the photographer and everyone who helped me have such a great prom night.”

Now awaiting her GCSE results, Isha plans to do her A-Levels at St Mary’s College in Blackburn, where she will study science subjects in the hope of becoming a radiographer in the future.
