THE grand Victoria Hall is staging its first professional panto in recent years this festive season — oh yes it is!

Joe Purdy Productions, which has brought the nation’s favourite characters to Bolton in star-studded pantomimes, is this year adding some extra sparkle to the beautiful and historic hall and bringing the rags to riches tale of Cinderella.

And not only will families enjoy the popular story being brought to life on stage, the venue will also be transformed into a Winter Wonderland.

A spokesman for Joe Purdy Productions said: “ Get ready to go on timeless tale as Cinderella heads off to the Royal Ball to meet Prince Charming as he searches to find his one true love.

“But will everything go to plan or will Cinderella’s evil step sisters get in the way of true love’s happily ever after.

“But fear not, as Cinderella’s best friend Buttons is always on hand to provide the laughs and cheer up Cinderella and with a touch of sparkling fairy dust from the magical Fairy God Mother, get ready to watch Cinderella transform from rags to a magical ball gown in front of your very eyes.

“Don’t be late for the ball, get your tickets before the clock strikes for midnight.”
