ELECTRICAL works at a substation are set to cause significant delays for more than a week.
The work will mean a one-way system is in place on Mayor Street, Deane, from Spa Road to Ellesmere Street.
It comes as Electricity North West, which managers the region's power network, begins a programme of work at the substation close to the end of the railway bridge.
This is expected to last from Saturday, July 20, until the end of Monday July 29.
Bolton Council expects the project to cause a 'high level of disruption through the duration of the works.
